Hey, I'm Jake

I'm Jake Torres, a systems engineer based in Denver, Colorado. I run a 200TB+ home NAS on TrueNAS Scale (Supermicro chassis, way too many drives) and I've been building storage arrays since college, when I started hoarding Linux ISOs and Blu-ray rips.

For years, buying hard drives meant the same ritual: check CamelCamelCamel, browse r/DataHoarder, scan deal forums, compare prices across Amazon US and UK, do the price-per-TB math in a spreadsheet. Every. Single. Time.

So I built HDDHunt to do it for me.
